Casino Whitelabel Cost in India 2026: What INR 51,000 Actually Buys You

By Raj Published September 2026 ~11 min read

The single question every operator asks in the first meeting is "what does a casino whitelabel actually cost?" And the honest answer is that the Indian market has spent 24 months in a pricing reset. Two years ago the floor was INR 3 to 5 lakh in non-refundable setup fees. Today, entry-tier whitelabels start at an INR 51,000 refundable security deposit. Same product category. Very different maths.

This piece breaks down what the current 2026 pricing floor really covers, what the mid-tier and legacy quotes are actually paying for, and the line items every operator underestimates when they model their first-year P&L.

The number to anchor on: INR 51,000 refundable deposit + INR 0 setup fee + 3 lakh points in player bonus chips = your entry cost on a modern Indian whitelabel. Compare that to INR 3-5 lakh non-refundable setup + INR 1-2 lakh player-side deposit + INR 0 chip credit on legacy quotes, and the gap is the whole conversation.

Indian Whitelabel Pricing Tiers in 2026

TierEntry costRefundable?Chip creditLaunch window
Entry (new generation)INR 51,000Yes, security deposit3 lakh points included24 to 48 hours
Mid-tier (customised)INR 1 lakh to 3 lakhPartly (typically 50 to 70%)1 lakh to 3 lakh points, sometimes bundled1 to 2 weeks
Legacy (older providers)INR 3 lakh to 5 lakhNo, setup feeRarely included; often separate top-up2 to 6 weeks
Enterprise / turnkeyINR 15 lakh to 30 lakh+NoCustom terms6 to 12 weeks

The entry tier exists because platform economics have shifted. New whitelabel providers are competing on entry price to grab market share on volume, then earning through GGR share once brands scale. Legacy providers still price the old model because they built their commercials before the shift.

What INR 51,000 Actually Covers

A checklist of what the entry-tier deposit unlocks on our casino whitelabel:

  • Platform activation. A fresh tenant on the shared platform, with your brand assets applied.
  • Subdomain provisioning and DNS wiring. Your own URL, ready to receive players.
  • Frontend branding. Your logo, colour palette, brand name across every user-facing surface — casino lobby, exchange, sportsbook.
  • Admin panel access. User management, chip allocation, transaction history, agent hierarchy tools, reporting.
  • Full product vertical bundle. Live casino (Andar Bahar, Teen Patti, Dragon Tiger, Baccarat, Blackjack, Roulette), virtual casino, slots, cricket-first exchange, and pre-match plus in-play sportsbook — all included in the base tier.
  • 3 lakh points in player bonus chips. Marketing credit for welcome bonuses, cashback, and promotional top-ups in your first weeks.
  • Payment gateway routing. The platform's pre-integrated UPI, IMPS, and wallet rails serve your players. You do not need your own PG contract on the entry tier.
  • KYC tooling. Player verification workflows available from day one, with the tuning left to you.
  • Setup call and admin walkthrough. 30 to 60 minutes with the platform team to hand over the admin panel and walk through wallet operations.

What is not covered by the INR 51,000 alone: your marketing spend, your calling ops team, your creative production, and any chip refills once the initial 3 lakh points are spent. Those are separate line items on your P&L.

"Refundable Deposit" vs "Setup Fee" — Why the Distinction Matters

This is the line item legacy vendors gloss over when they benchmark against modern entry tiers. A refundable security deposit sits with the platform as collateral against your account activity. When you close the account, once outstanding balances (player deposits held, agent settlements, chip liabilities) are cleared, the deposit is refunded.

A setup fee is consumed on launch. It pays for onboarding work, integration effort, and the platform's cost of provisioning your tenant. Once paid, it never comes back.

The economic weight is opposite:

  • INR 51,000 refundable deposit = closer to INR 0 real cost. It is capital sitting in a cost-of-capital sense (opportunity cost of the funds), but not spent.
  • INR 3 lakh setup fee = INR 3 lakh spent. Full sunk cost the moment the invoice is paid.

Two quotes with similar-looking headline numbers can be 100x different in real cost. Ask any provider directly: "is this refundable, and under what conditions?" If the answer is "no" or vague, treat it as a setup fee and rework your maths.

The 3 Lakh Points: Real Value, Not Marketing Puff

The 3 lakh points are player bonus chips — in-game credits you allocate to your players as welcome bonuses, cashback, loyalty rewards, or promotional top-ups. They are platform credit, not cash. You cannot refund unspent chips at account close.

What that credit is actually worth in practice:

  • Welcome bonus allocation. A standard India casino welcome offer is INR 500 to 1,000 in bonus credit per new depositor. 3 lakh points covers 300 to 600 welcome bonuses.
  • Reactivation credit. A INR 300 to 500 cashback offer to dormant players. 3 lakh points covers 600 to 1,000 reactivation triggers.
  • Loyalty top-ups for high-value players. A INR 2,000 to 5,000 loyalty gift to top depositors. 3 lakh points covers 60 to 150 top-tier gifts.

If you were funding this out of your own capital, that is INR 3 lakh you would not have to spend in the first 30 to 60 days. Treat the chip allocation as marketing budget you got free at launch, not as a valuation multiplier on the whitelabel package.

Ongoing Costs After Launch

The one-time entry cost is only part of your first-year P&L. What actually recurs:

  • Platform GGR share (15 to 30%). The platform's cut of your Gross Gaming Revenue. Tiers usually step down as your monthly GGR grows.
  • Payment gateway fees (pass-through). Whatever the platform's aggregated PG rates are, you pay them at cost. On UPI in India, typical MDR is 0.5 to 1% on deposits, higher on wallet rails.
  • Chip refills. Once your initial 3 lakh points are spent, additional bonus chip inventory is purchased at platform rates. Bulk refills usually price around INR 90 to 95 per 100 points.
  • Marketing spend. This is the big one and it is entirely separate from the platform. Meta Ads, Google Ads, WhatsApp, calling — plan for USD 3,000 to 15,000 per month depending on your growth ambition. Detail on the acquisition side of the P&L in our CPFTD reduction guide.
  • Support and ops payroll. Even on a whitelabel, you need someone answering WhatsApp support tickets and running retention campaigns. Realistic minimum is a 2-person ops team at INR 30,000 to 50,000 combined monthly cost.

Model your first-year cost as: INR 51,000 refundable deposit + INR X in marketing + INR Y in ops payroll + platform GGR share on whatever revenue you generate. The platform fee is the smallest number in that equation for most operators; marketing is the biggest.

Line Items Operators Underestimate

The five costs that most consistently blow the first-quarter budget:

  • Welcome bonus overspend. A well-designed welcome offer converts. A poorly-designed one leaks. Test your welcome economics with small cohorts before you scale marketing.
  • Chargebacks and reversal fees. UPI mandates and IMPS reversals happen. Budget 0.5 to 1% of gross deposit volume as chargeback provision.
  • Withdrawal float. You need enough capital in the platform wallet to service withdrawals without a lag. First-time operators regularly underfund this and take a reputation hit when payouts slow.
  • Bonus fraud on welcome offers. Coordinated abuse on welcome bonuses hits every new brand. Bonus terms with wagering requirements and per-IP limits are non-optional, not nice-to-have.
  • Support labour scaling. One person handles a small brand. When you hit 500+ daily active users, support labour doubles. Plan the transition before the tickets pile up.

How to Compare Whitelabel Quotes Honestly

When you get a quote from any platform provider, ask for these six numbers in writing:

  • Entry cost — and whether it is refundable, and under what conditions.
  • Chip credit — how many player-bonus points are included in the entry cost.
  • Ongoing platform share — what percentage of GGR the platform takes at your projected volume tier.
  • Payment gateway rates — the actual MDR the platform passes through to you.
  • Chip refill cost — what INR value gets you 1 lakh points on top-up.
  • Exit terms — what happens to your player data and how the deposit gets refunded when you close the account.

A provider that answers all six in one email is a provider you can trust. A provider that answers two and dodges four is a provider with a hidden line item you will find on the invoice later.

When Price Isn't the Real Question

For most first-time operators, the cheapest whitelabel is the correct whitelabel — because the biggest risk is spending platform money on a brand that never finds product-market fit. Get to launch, get to real player behaviour, and only then decide whether the platform tier still makes sense.

Where price stops being the question: once your monthly GGR crosses INR 50 lakh to 1 crore, the platform GGR share starts eating meaningful margin. That is when the maths on turnkey or self-build starts to matter. Detail on that decision in the whitelabel vs turnkey vs self-build guide, and on the agent-to-operator progression in the operator playbook.
